Application guide
Specify a practical, durable barrier
Tell us the operating temperature, doorway size and traffic so we can recommend the correct grade and overlap.

Product focus
Maintain access while reducing cold-air loss
Freezer-grade PVC remains flexible in low temperatures and helps control frost, draughts and energy loss at busy chilled doorways.

Built to suit your requirements
Choose the overall width and drop, fixed or sliding operation, specialist PVC grade, red edge strips and overlap. Our team can review photographs before manufacture.
Choose for the actual operating temperature
Freezer-grade PVC is a different formulation from standard clear PVC. Tell us the normal operating temperature and any more extreme conditions the curtain will experience, rather than relying on the room name alone. Review the standard and polar PVC data sheet and confirm the grade needed for your installation.
Measure the doorway and describe its use
Record the intended curtain width and drop, fixing position and traffic: pedestrians, trolleys and pallet movements can need different arrangements. Consider how the curtain interacts with the existing insulated door and its controls. PVC strips provide a flexible division and do not replace the main insulated door.
Care for a cold-room curtain
Check the strips regularly for damage, contamination and changes in flexibility. Keep the approach clear and follow the site cleaning routine. If ice or condensation affects passage, investigate the operating conditions as well as the curtain. Individual replacement strips can refresh worn material where the hanging system remains serviceable.
