Protect your strips from everyday industrial traffic
PVC strip is strong and hardwearing, but its surface is relatively soft. Forklift trucks, metal roll cages and material wheelie bins can quickly leave scratches and dirty marks on smooth strips. Ribbed PVC is designed for these demanding routes.

The ribs protrude from the surface and take much of the contact as vehicles and metal loads pass through. This helps protect the main face of the PVC from scuffing and scratching, while the ribbed profile gives the strips extra strength.

Choose the overall width and drop, fixed or sliding operation, specialist PVC grade, red edge strips and overlap. Our team can review photographs before manufacture.
Ribbed PVC performance and care
Use ribbed PVC curtains on warehouse and workshop routes used by forklifts, metal cages, trolleys and wheeled material bins. The ribs help reduce wear on the viewing surface; they do not make the strips scratch-proof. Clean strips regularly and replace damaged material when visibility or free movement is affected.
Choose your ribbed PVC grade
Select a ribbed strip width and thickness to suit the doorway and traffic. Ribbed freezer PVC is also available for cold-room applications: tell us the operating temperature so we can check the specification. This quote tool offers ribbed PVC only.
Fixed or sliding ribbed PVC curtains
Choose a fixed curtain for regular push-through access, or a sliding curtain when you need to move the strips aside. Sliding systems use 300mm-wide strips; the quote tool automatically shows the compatible grades. Switching back to Fixed restores the ribbed sizes and overlap choices.
Measure for the largest vehicle and load, and check clearances and pedestrian routes on both sides of the doorway. Contact us if you need help choosing your strip size or overlap.
